Refreshing Raspberry-Lemonade Sangria

I was inspired to make a Sangria combining the refreshing flavors of raspberries and lemon. I just took a sip of this batch. It's soooo good!

Sorry, I do not have pretty wine glasses in my apartment. That will be purchase number 3 when I move into my permanent place. Whenever that is...

I digress... Anyhoo here's what I put in this recipe:

1 box of raspberries in a bowl with a generous amount of sugar and thin slices of lemon. I covered the bowl and let it sit in my fridge for an hour.

After the hour was up, I was left with raspberries that has broken down into a thick and tart syrup.

I added one bottle of White Zinfendel wine, 1/2 cup of Simply Raspberry Lemonade, 3/4 cup brandy, and the bowl of raspberry syrup.

I let the mixture sit over night and this morning I got the above results. Quite frankly, it taste just like the juice in the bottle but after the 2nd or 3rd sip, the brandy sneaks up on you.

Oooooh yea!!

Lindsay & I are going to enjoy this Sangria while we watch the "Bridesmaids" movie later tonight.
