D.C. - here I come!

I am just too excited about Barack becoming our next President. There is no question about it. I just have to be there. So I just brought a one way ticket to D.C. for January 19th.

I found a steal of a deal on USAirways, Phoenix to Dulles for $169. Sweeeet!!! The only reason I didnt purchase my return ticket home yet because I'm unsure when I want to return. Really, I need a full week in DC to soak in all the political excitement, catch up with friends, and visit some near by family members. I will have to see how the next few weeks play out to determine my return date. I know I wont wait too long cuz I'll be pissed if I have to pay thru the nose to come back home.

This trip should make out for a frugal one. I don't need a hotel. I have tons of family and friends that live in the area. Rental car is out of the question because DC has a wonderful metro system. And the food! Oh my gosh, the food! Delicious and cheap! Cosi, Potbelly, here I come!!!!!!!

My biggiest splurge is probably going to be shopping at H&M! I heart that store.
